Reviews

This is what fans have to say about Renegades . . .

A big fan since I found the first of the trilogy in the school library Iv'e reread it a few times and it still stands up well to the test of time . . . if it's a laugh that you want, you'll go back to time and again. We can all relate to the stifled outcast blue skinned maid or the feared but kind snow elf in some ways, and they do make a hell of a combination. wizards beware!!

. . . if you want something a little lighter in tone and weight, you could do a lot worse than "Healer's Quest". This is not a kids' book - teenagers maybe, but not one for the under-tens. And that says a lot about its suitability for adults, too. The plot, the style, the characters and the action will keep you turning the pages, and you'll be requesting the next two before you know it. In fact, my only problem with the entire trilogy is the price of the third book... But I'll survive until I can afford that; I've got the first two to keep me going!

Fire was continues the series of Ares and Zelia as well as a good storyline (If a little irrelavent due to time being reversed). We are introduced to the Gods, and see more of the world in whih Zelia and Ares live. More is revealed about Ares parentage(or at least inferred).
