I write . . . . it is, I believe, a punishment for something I did wrong in a previous life. I write long e-mails and long letters, and just to get through the day, I write long lists.

But most of the time, I write books -- fantasy, science fiction, horror, children's books and books for adults. I write nonfiction too; I write textbooks for college students and for the post graduate.

And I work with wildlife who have inspired three books thus far and will probably inspire more. . .

Don't be timid. When looking at the table of contents, at the side of the page remember to scroll to the bottom. There are a lot of goodies that are not immediately apparent at first glance.
